It helps you become coordinated and more symmetrical in appearance. It tones your core muscles and your oft-neglected stabilizer muscles which determine the way you move throughout your every-day activities.
Balance training fitness equipment is extremely versatile. You can use balance pads for simple seated exercises or advanced drills as shown at right. Balance boards are fun, too, and the younger athlete enjoys simulating surfing and skateboarding on them.
